We welcome you to the 2nd International Cross-border reproductive care meeting which presents outstanding speakers and extraordinary scientific reports highlighting this rapidly expanding area of interest. As more and more patients choose to travel from one country to another seeking more affordable high quality reproductive care, serious concerns are raised. These include a multitude of medical, ethical, legal, regulatory and psychological aspects. Bringing together many of the leading caregivers from the various corners of the world will offer a unique opportunity to address many of these urgent concerns from a global perspective. The meeting will also herald the Society of Cross-border Reproductive Care goals of promoting collaboration between caregivers from countries in need of reproductive care and those in a position to provide them. The participants of this exciting meeting will look at ways to improve access to venues offering high quality reproductive services while advancing quality of care safeguards. We thank the members of the Scientific Committee and the Abstract Reviewers for their support and organization of what promises to be a great opportunity to exchange up-to-date information on the needs of patients electing to undergo cross-border reproductive care.
